The service
Semoru is a dictation app for macOS operated by The AH Media ("we"). It converts speech to text on your device or on our servers, as described in the privacy policy.
Beta software
Semoru is currently beta software. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It may contain defects, and features may change or be removed. Keep independent copies of anything important.
Your account
You need an account for transcription features. You are responsible for activity under your account. One free account per person; fair use applies to "unlimited" plans (no automated or resold transcription).
Acceptable use
Do not use Semoru to violate law, to record people without any legally required consent, or to attack the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Payment
Paid plans, prices, and billing terms will be shown at purchase when billing opens. Beta usage is free within the free plan's limits.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
